Marc Black – guitar/vocals
Michael Esposito – bass
Ralph Legnini – guitar
Marc Black, singer/songwriter/guitarist, and NY Blues Hall of Fame inductee will be performing with bassist Michael Esposito at Lydia’s Cafe, a cozy, intimate local cafe with excellent food and friendly folks.
Marc has been a local favorite for over 50 years, beginning his career at age 18 with shows with The Doors, Neil Diamond and Van Morrison.
He has enjoyed many adventures following the music through folk, blues, funk, experimental soundscapes, and film scoring. But in the end, it seems he always comes back to Claudette, that sweet hunk of wood he’s been carrying around with me for 50 years. His guitar, not his wife (in case you’re wondering).
Michael Esposito’s occupations have included musician, painter, builder, priest, and bicycle repairman, as well as cartoonist. In the 1960s, he played in a rock band, the Blues Magoos, touring the country and appearing on TV shows. A decade later, he lived as a renunciate at Church on the Mount, up on Meads Mountain Road. For years he’s been riding and repairing bicycles. These days, he avoids making plans.
